4/7/08 NEW-Orinda Magic Blue Team will play in the 6th Annual Sac-Town Spring NCAA Showcase April 18-20 at Cosumnes River College. Last spring over 60 NCAA DI and DII coaches, along with NAIA & Junior College Coaches attended, and evaluated from the stands. 5/1/07 - The Blue Team will be attending the West Coast Elite Spring Invitational on May 19-20 in Irvine, CA.

5/1/07 - Reno brackets have been posted click here for the Blue Team's schedule. The tournament directors have fixed the bracket so the team will now be listed as Orinda Magic-Blue. First game will be at 9 a.m. on court 2 vs. Nevada Basketball. Practice this week is at Wagner from 7-9 p.m on Tuesday and Wednesday.

4/2/07 - At the "Petaluma Shootout" last weekend, Mar.31-Apr.1, the Blue Team defeated Strictly Hoops-Black, North Bay Chicks and Pacific Storm to earn the championship in on o two Varsity Brackets. The team's flurry of quick guards was spearheaded at the point of attack by tourney MVP, Ebony Richardson, who overwhelmed opposing guards with her quick feet and slick moves. Strong inside play from Crystal Whittington and Carlie Bonderer was complemented throughout the weekend by the long range sharpshooting of Katie Evans and Sonia Aguilar. After Easter Break, the Blue Team heads to the "Thunderdome" at U.C. Santa Barbara for the Spring Fling, April 13-15. The tournament is NCAA certified for collegiate observation during this NCAA Open Evaluation weekend. For more info on this event go to nationalbasketball.com.

Spring Tourney Info 2007
The first tournament of the spring will be the North Bay Chicks Tournament in Santa Rosa on March 31-April 1.
    The second tournament of the spring will be the Spring Fling at UC Santa Barbara during the NCAA open evaluation period, April 13-15. The Spring Fling is NCAA certified for collegiate observation. Games begin at 2:15 p.m. on Friday, April 13 and conclude at 2:15 p.m. on Sunday, April 15.
   After that, the team will participate in the EBX tourney on April 21-22, the Mission Rec tourney on April 28-29, the District Championships in Reno, NV on May 5-6, and the Bay Area Jam Festival on May 19-20. Extra tournaments may be added in the future.
    During the spring season the Blue Team will have practice on Tuesday and Wednesday nights at Wagner Ranch from 7-9 p.m..
    This summer the Blue Team will participate in a full travel schedule at some of the top NCAA certified events in the country. Entry is confirmed for the End of the Oregon Trail Tournament in Oregon City, OR on July 6-9, and the River City Classic in Memphis, TN on July 22-25. The rest of the summer schedule will become available as soon as details have been finalized.
