Tournament History

"For the Love of the Game" Fall Invitational 2005

In the first annual "For the Love of the Game" Fall Invitational, Jayne Appel led Fastbreak to a 55-45 victory over Jasmine Smith and the Lady Spartans in the first semi-finals game, only to be defeated 46-34 by East Bay Hoops led by Alex Mitchell and Jazmine Perkins.

The Lady spartans went on to take 3rd in a 51-31 victory over the Lady G's, behind the powerful combination of Smith, Jaleesa Ross and Marnique Arnold.

The Orinda Magic "Green" team was led by by Courtney Fearon, Katie Batlin and Katie Evans to take Consolation in a 48-44 win over the Pleasanton Hoopsters.

Orinda Magic Basketball presents, The Bay Area - "End of the Oregon Trail" Qualifier on May 20-21.

This is a 4-game guaranteed tournament to be held in Orinda and Pleasanton.

The overall champion wins a bid to enter the End of the Oregon Trail All-Star Tournament in Oregon City, OR on July 6th - 9th.  The End of the Trail tourny is an NCAA certified viewing event and is one of the most prestigious and highly attended venues (by teams as well as recruiters) for girls basketball in the country.
