GOLD FIND VS MAGIC FIND

Hi,

Is there any point in doing magic find anymore? I can stack MF and farm inferno elites, die every now and then, painstaking clearing elites/killing bosses, and in the end I will probably not find an item with the stats that I want, and might not even find anything worth selling.... If I stack gold find.... I can farm trash and guarantee 400-600k a hour and then go to AH and buy the gear that I need. Am I wrong?

Please help.
